Experience: 10 + years
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Should have worked in Infotainment domain for at least 7 years. Should have worked in architect/lead role for at least 4 years.
Should have good understanding on integration of Infotainment/Telematics in the vehicles.
Should have hands on knowledge in following - Android based Infotainment App Development, Android SDK, Core java, NDK, Android framework and its Customization.
Application Development experience for Media and Phone App, Navigation, Home Screen Customization, cloud communication. BT, Wi-Fi, GPS, GSM, CAN integration at Application level. Event and Priority Management etc.
Assertive, knowledgeable and good communication skills are must.
Nice to have - Exposure to QNX, GENEVI, automotive protocols such as CAN, OBD II, J1939 etc., Automotive tools such as CAN simulators.
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering (or equivalent) from reputed university.
What Role & Responsibilities to Expect:
Requirement definition Define requirements for Infotainment/Telematics Systems in automotive domain w.r.t. Software, Applications, system integration, hardware etc.
Create Infotainment/Telematics System architecture, Guide the team in implementing the same across all layers of software architecture.
Design Scalable and high performance system.
Debug and Resolve the performance related issues/bottlenecks. Optimize the overall cost and BOM of the system.
Trouble shooting Assist the team in trouble shooting the issues arising during implementation/testing. Resolve the field issues.
Customer Interaction and demonstrations Able to work with team in preparing for customer demos and handle the demos independently. Handle day to day technical communication with Customers.
