TITLE OF POSITION/ DESIGNATION: Business Development Officer

2. LOCATION [SINGLE / MULTIPLE]: Pune

3 DESIGNATIONS OF SUBORDINATES: Administration Staff, Auditors

4. POSITION REPORTS TO: Lab Incharge (Manager Operations)

5. TITLE OF DEPARTMENTAL HEAD: Manager Operations

POSITION REQUIREMENT:

1. AGE/GENDER PREFERANCE - Age: 26-30/Male

2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION -  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration OR Food technology/ BSc, MBA in Marketing/ operations would be an added advantage

3. NO OF YRS EXP (Along with industry pref. if any) - 2 to 4 yrs as a Business Development Officer. Must be from Food testing lab or Food processing industry, or Industrial, or business to business (B2B) marketing background

4. MAJOR SOFT SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: (Languages) • Proficient English (mandatory) • Native Marathi (mandatory) • Very good in additional language (preferable) • Should be a good team player

5. MAJOR WORK RELATED KEY SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Good administration and organizational skills (mandatory) Knowledge of regulatory requirements (mandatory) Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel, Power point) (mandatory) Knowledge of the following domains (preferable): • Water testing • Food testing (Chemical & microbiology)

6. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (e.g.-good personality, presentable, good dressing sense etc) Should be Presentable , energetic , positive attitude

7. SALARY AND BENEFITS (CTC and monthly Take home) - 2.4 to 3 lakhs per annum

8. YEARLY BENEFITS(IF ANY) No separate yearly benefits other than business incentives which are based on annual performance. These incentives are decided by the management. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

A) Able to generate and attend enquiries, timely follow-ups , clients meetings, projects finalization, monitor client relation, Ensure Payment remittance on time, Complete and submit in a timely manner all necessary data sheets/ documents regarding projects;

B) Assess local market conditions by working with other team members, consultants, key customers, and key suppliers to solve specific challenges, participate in industrial exhibitions, identify current and prospective sales opportunities and leverage growth opportunities; Analyze and evaluation of activities, costs, operations

C) Customer service (complaint management, etc), administration, Manages workflow to assist staff in balancing priorities, providing backup support if needed

D) Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
